Gift boxes aren’t new, but have you ever thought about the brands behind each product and what they stand for. Our aim at Banilla Box is to introduce you to local businesses and tell you why they are so great at what they do.
Below are some of the amazing companies we work with and a little more about them.

Founded by Todd Whiteford and Courtney Brennan, The Good Coffee Cartel was built with a purpose: to cut new trails in the speciality coffee industry, with an environmental conscience and the intention to always do GOOD things.

Since they started in 2017, The Good Coffee Cartel have been at the forefront of zero-waste coffee packaging. Wholesale customers receive coffee in reusable pails while retail customers receive coffee in reusable (refillable!) tins. When these tins reach the end of their life they can be recycled infinitely.  In Scotland, they were also the first coffee shop to pioneer a reusable cup-exchange system.

When it comes to sourcing their coffee, they only partner up with green bean suppliers who actively put in place processes at origin to ensure sustainability for the farmer.

The Company was founded in 2017. This followed from their first ever chocolate making course, taught by World Chocolate Master, Ruth Hinks. After their first chocolate course, they were hooked on making, and all things chocolate.

The Company has been awarded 5 stars by VisitScotland, as a tourist visitor attraction, the only chocolatier in Scotland to have this prestigious award.
LuxLife Magazine has awarded the Company, Best Emerging Artisan Chocolatier 2019. In the end though, the goal is simple. The more people enjoy who their chocolates, the happier they will be.

At the age of 20, founder Jared realised he had been missing out on yummy Hot Chocolate his whole life, he grew up with allergies and having searched high and low for quality, all natural vegan hot chocolate he couldn’t find any. Based in Glasgow, crafting creamy, indulgent, vegan, unrefined, organic, homemade, all natural ingredient packed hot chocolate is their thing.

Launching in 2020 they sold over 100 pouches in one week without any marketing budget and they are excited to see where it takes them.
